I forgot to add (can you blame me?) that I also really loved Lucifer's insistence of Sam's verbal consent. In AUs like this I especially love it when the characters/storyline maintains canonical characteristics/elements, so Lucifer's adamancy that Sam say what he really wanted, as if he truly needed it and wouldn't have persisted without it (er, at least physically), was all kinds of lovely and spot on.
Sam isn't exempted, either. Him turning down a promotion all but handed to him on a silver platter? So very Sam.
Also, Kudos to you for making Lucifer so darn attractive. I normally don't find Mark Pallegrino to be all that handsome, but the images you painted and the way you portrayed him made him seem really attractive. One of those guys who, while not all that good looking, just emit confidence and power and sex appeal from their every pore.
