This was great. I too, have a limited knowledge of Boston Legal, but you conveyed so much of Denny in the beginning, with his domineering personality and carefree attitude, and so much of Alan at the end, with his secrets and his gentle appreciation that it didn't matter. They felt like I knew them well.
