well, this looks like a useful way to procrastinate from actually doing anything

Pick one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

My terrifyingly straggly masterlist is here. And I think I need to actually divide it up by pairing instead of just having everything in chronological order and split into RPF/FPF. *cries at prospect*

I will answer this question separately, since it's very specific. :)

I do indeed have a Catholic background. I went to a Catholic school where mass was attended every Friday morning, and I was an altar server. I didn't do any further research specifically for this fic, but I did a lot of Church history as part of my master's dissertation, and a large part of my PhD work is deeply involved in Catholicism, both now and in the early church. So, voila! Priest!kink. :D

Ah, well-learned you are. I presume your research is how you struck upon Amis and Amiloun; finding such an obscure reference in a fic just about sent me through the roof with nerd-love. Combine porny goodness of SPN with ancient french tale of a knightly leper and his dedicated squire? I DIED. :D

Ooops . . . in my fangirl flailings I forgot to sign in and I'm anon above. :P shit happens.

Hee, that's okay. :)

I actually got Amis and Amiloun from a kiddie version of the story that my Dad used to read me when I was little, although I studied the actual text as an undergraduate. I ♥ them.
