Love this verse, so glad you were inspired to do a sequel! :) This look inside Dean's twisted little mind was fascinating. Dean's relationship with Sam is so central to his life normally, I really like how you've integrated that here. Even though we saw he'd murdered him in the first story it makes SO MUCH SENSE that he carries Sam's voice around with him forever... I love that. And I love the darkness of the story, but there's that romantic part of me that loves the preoccupation that Dean has for Cas still, and is rooting for ...at least some version of a happy ending, lol.
