I loved it too. I wasn't shipping everything/everybody of course. Cobby? LOL.

I'm just a Dean/Cas girl with the romanc and Dean/Sam girl with the brother love of forever.

And Dean/Sam/Cas/Bobby on the best chosen family in the universe that still should have Jo and Ellen too.

I don't know I really loved it, I expect Dean to pissed at Cas for long ass time no matter how I believe he loves Cas and will forgive him, so Sam being the first to reach out, makes sense. Dean the more he loves the more hurt and pissed and stubborn about that pain he is. And Castiel as God was totally on a power trip but he had somewhat good intentions he was trying to rationalize. Motivation Speakers, LOL.

When the blood bath happened at the Michelle Bachman-like Senator place, I knew instantly that it wasn't Cas that did it, it was whatever was inside him that wanted out, that was more dangerous than him. And he knew it too, it wasn't what he wanted, he didn't want that it was his instant rock bottom, unwanted death at his own hands from his own actions -- so his regret, his wake up call, it didn't really feel fast to me. He believed he was in control but the second he realized he wasn't he knew his Pride had gotten him in over his head.

All his apologies to Dean, really felt real to me and you could see how important Dean's forgiveness was, really no one elses matter and for me as a Dean/Cas OTP girl that went a LONG LONG way to making a lot of better. Especially the one that was about Sam and wanting to make Sam better right then and now if he could.

And Dean being Dean, like I said, he can't forgive things like that fast, and quick, he needs time, the more he loves the more time he needs. It took him a year to fully forgive Sam and really whenever he catches Sam in a lie, or secret keeping there is still that hurt there as we saw in this episode. You could tell he was hurt, that he might want to forgive Cas, but Cas betrayed Dean by hurting Sam and yeah.... he couldn't really give him an apology accepted, and reach out to Cas before they did the spell, but after when he though Cas was dead you could see clearly he would have, that he wished Cas had just listened to him that it cut really deep, the episode I saw missing Cas cut really deep.

It all worked for me.

And the end with the Leviathan.

A) MIsha OMG that turn. It reminded me of on Twin Peaks when you find out Bob was Mr. Palmer and the horrible 2nd seasons cliffhanger of when Bob was in Agent Cooper. Cas when all Bob on us. He was all evil, creepy with that awful SMILE of EVIL.... and ACK.

And I kind of don't believe the Leviathan that Castiel is dead, I won't really believe that until well.... until I do. Which I probably never will, damn it.

We'll see what happens next episode.
