Have you ever lied to a teacher to get out of a deadline?

No. My modus operandi is 'it doesn't have to be good, as long as it's finished.' So, rather than lie to a teacher, or indeed explain to a teacher my legitimate reasons for needing extra time, I have always, when in difficulty, just submitted hastily-crafted shit rather than anything else. I don't think I've ever missed a deadline.

I may be an obsessive deadline-adherent.

What kind of magazines do you read? I don't, SO, bonus question from starcrossedgirl: How do you like your fanfic?

This depends on my mood. I love long, slow-building pieces, but I'm often capable of skimming plot in search of character development. Stuff like Killa's Kirk/Spock is optimum for my tastes in that it's long, beautifully written, has slow-building romance, usually, AND always has an interesting plot.

But I also love beautifully-crafted oneshots, first kisses, and porn. :D


What's your occupation?

Professional student, moving slowly towards a doctorate. This entails all the obvious, part-time jobs, tutoring, etc.

What's really creepy?

Spiders, or other crawly things, en masse. Mirrors in the dark.

Who is your celebrity crush?

My almost-as-mammoth crush on Nimoy rides happily alongside. Or, you know, on top of. Whatever.

Like starcrossedgirl, the level of excitement I have about the next stage of our RP is staggeringly, pathetically great.

A packet of chocolate-covered coffee beans, I believe.

I don't know if I've seen anything cute today. :O :O :O

Does the weather affect your mood?

Yes. I'm horribly susceptible to feeling abysmal all morning, not knowing why, and then suddenly realising it's because of the weather.

What is the most bizarrely funny thing you've seen on the internet recently?

This continues to boggle my mind.

Do you want to learn another language?

I speak, read and write excellent French, and very poor German. I would love to get my German up to the level of my French. I also have a vague hankering to learn Russian.

Internet access. Fandom. My iPod. My friends, rl and online. My mobile phone.

Do you have any siblings?

Yes, a sister. I love her to excess, but her taste in music/fandoms is questionable.

To my father-in-law: GET THE HELL OVER YOURSELF AND STOP ACTING LIKE A CHILD/AN IDIOT.

Which of your fandoms have had to take a back seat to make way for your current fandom/obsession?

Sherlock Holmes, Jeeves and Wooster. Mainstream Star Trek FPS, even.
