Pick one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.
My terrifyingly straggly masterlist is here. And I think I need to actually divide it up by pairing instead of just having everything in chronological order and split into RPF/FPF. *cries at prospect*

Date: 2011-08-10 08:28 pm (UTC)1. The boys' mother was killed in much the same way in this 'verse as in canon, but in a house fire, not by a demon. The demon is Dean's way of explaining it to himself, and everything else grew out of that, his madness and his obsessions.
2. This whole 'verse is obliquely S/D as well as D/C, as I think is quite heavily implied. Dean is obsessed with his brother to the extent that he kills him, BUT he's very offended by the suggestions the other prisoners make that he and Sam were ever incestuously involved. They weren't, physically. But he killed Sam after he'd come back from a date with the smell of some girl all over him, and Dean couldn't stand it -- it was, on whatever level, a sexual jealousy. Ergo, if he wanted to keep Sam for himself, there was only one way to ensure it, within the constraints of his delusion.
3. Father Castiel in this 'verse has an obsessive nature of his own. He lets Dean lure him in, not only because Dean has that dangerous charisma to him, but also because there is something about Dean that reminds him of the first boy he ever fell in love with, who also had green eyes and a cocky smile and made him feel dirty and helpless.
